Description

This is the first attempt to take a galaxy's picture with the QHY8 OSC.

With this "graanny" camera i'm learning a lot. Finally i can reach H-alfa emission but color calibration is really harder in comparison with DSLR.

Raw files was something of terrifying but with some tricks i reached somethings interesting result. I'm on my way with this OSC Camera..

You will pardon me for this flag on image but i worked to this picture last night while Italy Soccer Team won the European Championship... I know that it could be not so elegant and out of topic but a tribute for my Italia was somethings that i needed. Last year with this crazy pandemy it was really drammatic, a lot of people died and this made all of us sad and full of fear. Our childrens has spent really bad moments, closed in their rooms without any kind of human contact and we know how much important is it at this age meet each other. Yes, meet each other is that thing that made Human race special. So i wanna say "Viva l'Italia!" and tell to all of you, my astro friends, that if today we can post this awesome images is because a man named Galileo pointed his first achromatic refractor to the majestic italian sky.
